Junior Water Polo Come & Try

Hosted by NYP Dragons Water Polo Club

A come and try water polo and Flippaball event to bring water polo to Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre and the local community. The first portion of clinics is for local participants and the second portion will be practice games with metro club member participation. 

NYP Dragons Water Polo Club is a community club located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne that is committed to making water polo enjoyable for all its members. We foster a competitive spirit but always believe in competing with integrity. No matter whether you are new to the sport or an experience player, there is always room to learn and grow both in and out of the pool. At NYP Dragons we are dedicated to finding those opportunities to improve which is facilitated by our fantastic team of coaches. We truly believe that learning and playing water polo should be challenging, rewarding and, above all, plenty of fun.

Baseball State Winter Championships

The Annual Baseball Victoria State Winter Championships are once again on in Morwell at the Gippsland Regional Baseball Centre of Excellence facility at Toners Lane in Morwell.

Come and watch potential future Major leaguers slug it out for the prize of the best underage team in Victoria over 2 days of quality baseball including our own Latrobe Valley team that will represent Gippsland on the Big Stage.

– We ask no videos or recording on the night, the nature of these shows are designed to be an exclusive look into the players lives both on and off the field and stories to be only discussed behind closed doors.

– When purchasing a ticket to this or any show, please note there are strictly no refunds unless the show is canceled. If in the unlikely event the show is to be moved date, due to unforeseen circumstances, no refund requests will be accepted. If the date is to be changed, your original ticket will be valid, we may offer you a ticket transfer to another similar show on another date. Subject to individual circumstances.

Latrobe Valley Badminton – Veterans Tournament

Annual Badminton Tournament hosted by Latrobe Valley Badminton Association – Veterans for badminton players over the age of 35. Graded teams event held over two days as part of the Statewide series in conjunction with the Victorian Badminton Veterans Association. Teams are 4 ladies/4 men players (max 10 players per team).

Traralgon Harriers 59th Annual Marathon & Running Festival

The 59th WIN Network Traralgon Marathon & Running Festival is back on Sunday 14 June 2026 — and entries are NOW OPEN!

Starting and finishing at Glengarry Football Netball Club, 39 Cairnbrook Rd, Glengarry. The 42.2km marathon commences at 8.00am utilising the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail, running through Glengarry toward Toongabbie where runners turn. Marathon runners will run 2 laps of this course.
The 21km and 10km events commence at 9.00am and 10.00am and follow the same direction as the marathon course.

Run the historic Gippsland Plains Rail Trail
Finisher medal for all runners
Lunch included
And of course, the friendliest marathon in the country!

Mothers Day Classic Traralgon/Toongabbie

Australia’s largest fun run/walk for breast cancer research.

The event has two distance options for entrants, 9km Toongabbie to Glengarry and 5km Traralgon (Burnetts Road car park) to Glengarry.

Walk or run along the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail.
