Moartz presents ‘CHALKFACE’

What happens in the staffroom, stays in the staffroom!
Set entirely in the staffroom at fictional West Vale Primary, this fast-paced play follows the travails of a group of schoolteachers and staff over the course of a year.
With humour and heart, the play takes aim at the quirks of our education system, poking fun at privatisation, red tape and workplace politics, while giving audiences a nostalgic trip back to the classroom and characters of our own childhoods.
Chalkface written by Ange Betzien, Directed by Mike Pullar and starring Judy Files, Karina Byrne, Allan Halliwell, Gaz Harding, Sharryn Marshall and Julie Strini.

Doors open at 7pm. Enjoy complimentary refreshments on arrival and an amazing art exhibition by local artists. All teachers and school staff to receive one free drink with ID.
