Emma Memma Jungle Picnic Tour
Jump up and dance with the elephants, sing along to catchy tunes, and play games alongside Emma Memma and her mates.
Come along to the Moe Skate Park and hang out, have a go and meet new people!
On Saturdays from September 19 through to December, the Moe Skate Park Activation will bring free activities, coaching and good vibes to the skate park, creating a safe, welcoming space for young people to get active, build confidence and connect with others.
Whether you’re already smashing it on a skateboard, scooter or BMX, or you’ve never stepped foot on one before, everyone is welcome.
What to expect:
Free skateboarding, scootering and BMX activities
Friendly coaching and support
Positive local role models and mentors
Competitions and activities
A chance to build skills and confidence
A welcoming space to hang out and meet others
The program kicks off during Youth Month in September, with free Hang Out Sessions running between September and December, plus a competition in November celebrating the skills and achievements of participants.
The activation is being delivered in partnership with GippSport and local young person Jay Dootry, a member of the Melbourne Scooter Club and Australia’s Head Judge for Freestyle Scootering. Jay will bring his experience, skills and mentorship to the sessions, helping young people get involved in a fun and supportive environment.
So grab your board, scooter or BMX, bring your mates and come hang out at Moe Skate Park!
