A 5km walking track leading you along an aboriginal art trail
Morwell indigenous Gunaikurnai artist Ronald Edwards-Pepper was commissioned to create this artwork stretching 5kms along Waterhole Creek, Morwell. It encompasses the message: 'Give me your hand my friend' - its translation is 'Gnokan Danna Murra Kor-Ki‘.
Traditional designs captured by Edwards-Pepper give identity to Country as well as the stories and meanings of the Gunaikurnai’s cultural heritage.
Located opposite Kernot Lake, behind the Traffic School. Also access from the Gippsland Immigration Park at Kernot Lake.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet, the Gunaikurnai people and pay our respects to their Elders; past, present and emerging.
