Gippsland Model Engineering Society operates the Newman Park Miniature Railway for the enjoyment of Latrobe Valley residents and visitors.
The Railway has 200 metres of 3½" Gauge track, and 1,100 metres of parkland 5" and 7¼" Gauge track crossing three small bridges. Connecting tracks, sidings and steaming bays add another 500 metres of track.
Trains are operated for the public, weather permitting, between 12:00pm and 4:00pm on the fourth Sunday of each month (February - November). Extra public events are scheduled in December (and sometimes November).
Rides are $4.00 per person.
Please note: All passengers MUST wear enclosed footwear. No bare feet, thongs, sandals or other open-toed footwear can be permitted on the trains.
