Tranquil bushland just a few minutes from the township of Churchill with a walking track along Eel Hole Creek.

Lake Hyland is generously stocked with trout every school holidays, offering everyone a chance to fish from one of the five fishing platforms located around the lake. It’s also a popular spot with birdwatchers and dog walkers, while also providing a unique cultural experience.

At the south end of the lake are the remains of an original homestead, known as Hare's Farmhouse. This features an adjacent Koori Garden with plants that the local Gunaikurnai clan have used for thousands of years. There are also 11 totem poles decorated with Gunaikurnai artwork.
