The Morwell Historical Society was formed in 1962 with an ongoing goal to promote, preserve and record securely the history of Morwell and district.
Located in the former Morwell Masonic Lodge, the Morwell Historical Society features several displays capturing important pieces of local history. Displays are constantly changing and for a limited time, they have displays of the Maryvale Football Club and Latrobe Valley Yacht Club. If football or yachting is not your thing, they have lots of other displays on the town of Morwell.
Volunteers are happy to research if you are searching for something in particular.
