Moe Golf Club
With towering native gums lining snaking fairways and measuring 6,025 metres, the Moe Golf Club is one of Latrobe Valley’s finest golfing challenges.
The Morwell River flows through valleys of the Strzelecki Ranges for more than 40 kilometres. The Morwell River Falls are a set of waterfalls that lie in the upper reaches of the river near the township of Boolarra.
For outdoor lovers, the Morwell River Falls are a must-see. The first set of waterfalls are framed by an overhanging tree branch and swing. Moving downstream, water cascades over two more consecutive drops, offering several vantage points for that perfect photo opportunity.
The picnic area at Morwell River Falls Reserve is 100 metres from the car park, and the walking track down to the falls starts in the bottom right-hand corner of the picnic area near the information board.
Just 21kms from Boolarra, all falls are clearly marked, and it is a short, steep walk (Grade 3) to the falls.
